A little bit about me and reiki…

Reiki is a part of my daily life and wellbeing practice. It helps me to reconnect and bring awareness to the relationship I have with myself, others and the planet. 

It has been a privilege over the years to share reiki with others and witness an opening up and awakening of their healing abilities. 

Reiki is an intuitive, natural system of healing that can help us to relax and nurture our wellbeing at a deep level. We may have forgotten along the way, or have obstacles that are hindering us, but using reiki regularly can re-connect us to our own innate self healing abilities. It all starts with a moment of relaxation. 

I have over 20 years experience working in therapeutic social care and retreat settings and my integrative practice is informed by my continued learning and professional development in holistic wellbeing therapies and practices. I have a MA Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy and BMus Music (Goldsmiths, University of London), and further qualifications in meditation, yoga nidra, qigong, spiritual life coaching, acupressure, massage and singing bowl massage. I have recently completed my Yoga Alliance accredited Yin Yoga teacher qualification.

At the heart of all my work is the understanding that compassion and collaboration is key and that healing is a process, and a responsibility that cannot be given to someone else. As a Reiki Master-Teacher I help to facilitate your self-healing by providing a safe and supportive space for us to work together. It is in this dynamic interaction that we can be affected by, and benefit from reiki.

I have been a reiki practitioner for over 15 years and have been a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master-Teacher since 2010.

I have been trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and can trace my initiation lineage as a master to the spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Usui Shiki Ryoho can be translated as "the Usui System of Natural Healing."
