Join us at La Bichurie in Feugères, Normandie - a tranquil, countryside retreat venue located in the Regional Nature Park of Cotentin and Bessin Marshes, and just 20 minutes from the west coast of Normandie with its stunning beaches and coastal walks. This beautifully renovated 17th Century country house sits in 5 acres of organic land with its own private gardens, further surrounded by farm fields with no local neighbours. It has 6 double bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a large studio space, an orchard, a terrace with BBQ and outside dining furniture.
Absolutely all singing abilities are welcome on our small group retreats. Our singing retreat holidays are about sharing the joys and many benefits of finding your voice, singing together - and most importantly singing from the heart. Keeping our retreat groups intentionally small enables us to personalise the focus of our daily retreat sessions to the needs and requirements of the group.
Your days will be filled with activities to nourish the heart, body and soul. There will be joyous daily singing, meditation and mantra chanting, yoga for all abilities to relax and strengthen the connection between body, mind and breath, optional holistic wellbeing therapies (reiki and wellbeing massage), delicious home cooked meals and plenty of time to rest, relax and enjoy the beauty of the Normandie countryside and coast.

Our food is made with love and enjoyed at shared group meal times everyday during your singing retreat holidays. Delicious seasonal dishes with influences from all over the world - from slow cooked fragrant curries to local French classics. Ema has been cooking for groups and at our retreats for years and loves using local, seasonal and her home grown ingredients wherever possible. Many of Ema's recipes are featured on our HeartSong Normandie blog, and she has also had her recipes featured in numerous publications and was a regular contributor (and winner) of The Guardian Readers' Recipe Swap (under the name DeToutCoeurLimousin). She is currently collating her tried and tested retreat recipes and is planning to publish a cook book with some of the favourites in the future.
Booking Information
Our singing retreat holidays in France include:
group singing sessions, meditation and mantra chanting, yoga sessions, 7 nights accommodation full board/3 meals a day and afternoon tea/snacks apart from on your free day (which includes optional day trip; e.g. beach or local town).
