New Mortain and Gorron Pop Rock Choir Workshops Starting Soon...
"It begins with a moment of relaxation.
That moment of relaxation, of silence, of stillness, lets the clatter quiet, the bustle settle, opening the door for the return of your healing intelligence.
In that moment of silence, stillness, and relaxation, your organs and energy channels have an opportunity to take up harmonious vibrations again.
And in that moment of relaxation, you have an opportunity to use your consciousness to help your body to do that."
Chunyi LinAt HeartSong Normandie in Mortain, Reiki is offered as a space to pause, soften, and return to yourself. Whether you are completely new to Reiki or looking to deepen your experience, you are warmly welcomed into a calm and supportive environment for well-being and self-discovery.
“Reiki is a practice of being, a way of living in harmony with oneself and others.”
- Phyllis Lei FurumotoReiki is a gentle, holistic energy practice that supports relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Originating in Japan, Reiki works with the body’s natural processes by encouraging the flow of life force energy.
When we experience stress, emotional strain, or physical discomfort, this energy can feel disrupted. Reiki offers a gentle way to support the body and mind in returning to a more balanced state.
At its heart, Reiki is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and listen inward.
Reiki may support you if you are:
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or exhausted
Navigating emotional challenges or life transitions
Experiencing physical tension or discomfort
Curious about energy healing or spirituality
Seeking a deeper sense of calm, clarity, or connection
No prior experience is needed - only a willingness to pause, soften, and meet yourself in the moment.
A Reiki session is a deeply relaxing and calming experience.
You remain fully clothed, lying comfortably on a treatment table
Gentle hands-on or hands-off energy work is offered
Sessions typically last around 60-90 minutes
Many people experience warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or a sense of peace
Each session is unique, guided by your needs in the moment. You are held in a safe, calm, and nurturing space throughout.
Reiki may support:
Deep relaxation and stress reduction
Relief from tension and discomfort
Emotional balance and release
Improved clarity and focus
Better sleep
A deeper connection to yourself
While Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, it can be a supportive complementary practice for holistic well-being.

Reiki is often described as “universal life force energy” - a natural energy that flows through all living beings.
When this energy is balanced and flowing freely, we tend to feel well, grounded, and at ease. When it becomes depleted or disrupted, we may experience stress, fatigue, or imbalance. Reiki works gently to support the restoration of this natural flow.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese elements:
Rei, meaning universal or spiritual consciousness, and
Ki, meaning life force energy (similar to Chi in China or Prana in India).
Reiki as a practice was developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, and is influenced by principles of mindfulness, compassion, and the interconnectedness of all life.
It shares similarities with other holistic practices such as yoga, qigong, acupuncture, and acupressure all of which work with the body’s energy system to support balance and well-being.
Reiki can also be used alongside other complementary therapies, gently supporting the body, mind, and emotional system as a whole.
My name is Ema, and I am a Usui Reiki Master Teacher.
Reiki is at the heart of my work and daily life. I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2007 and a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master-Teacher since 2010. My lineage is rooted in the tradition of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto, anchoring my practice and teaching within the Usui system.
I offer individual Reiki sessions, Reiki training (Levels 1, 2, and Master-Teacher), and Reiki Share Circles - all centred on rest, nervous system regulation, mindful presence, and self-compassion.
My approach is gentle, grounded, and relational. It is informed by over 20 years of experience in therapeutic and retreat settings, as well as my MA in Group and Intercultural Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London.
My practice is also shaped by training in meditation, yoga nidra, qigong, bodywork, sound therapy, spiritual life coaching, and Yin Yoga, alongside my ongoing study of Buddhist meditation practices such as mindfulness of breathing and loving-kindness (mettā). These approaches deepen my understanding of awareness, compassion, and presence, supporting me to hold space in an integrated and responsive way.
In all that I offer, my intention is to create a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop a deeper relationship with this subtle yet powerful practice.
I look forward to welcoming you.
There are moments in life when we need to slow down -
to be held in stillness, to breathe, to simply be.
Reiki offers a gentle and supportive space for this.
Whether you are moving through challenge or simply longing for calm, this is a place where you can reconnect with yourself and allow your body to rest and restore.
Everything begins with a moment of relaxation.
If you feel called to experience Reiki or would like to learn more, I would love to hear from you.
Get in touch to book a session or ask any questions.
I look forward to welcoming you.
